Miller Clinton E. Miller is a nationally recognized insurance consultant, expert witness, author, and lecturer. He has extensive nationwide experience as qualified trial expert witness in state and federal courts in both civil and criminal cases. He has testified in over 400 cases involving insurance-related issues, including more than 90 trials. His expertise includes allegations of bad faith, coverage disputes, coverage interpretation, and insurance industry standards, customs and practices. Since he began working in the insurance industry, Mr. Miller has adjusted approximately 34,000 claims for over 150 insurance companies. He has trained adjusters and written claims manuals. He has owned and operated his own independent insurance adjusting firm, and worked as a claims manager for a national insurance company. Mr. Miller holds federal and state insurance adjusting licenses, is a licensed private investigator, and is a Board Certified Forensic Examiner. In addition to providing consulting services to insurance companies and policy holders, Mr. Miller acts as a consultant to the California Department of Insurance and the California Legislatures Select Committee on Insurance Reform. Mr. Millers formal education includes an AA in Insurance Adjusting and Investigation from Foothill College, a BS in Insurance Risk Management from San Jose State University, and a JD from Lincoln University School of Law.
