| Philip P. Whynott Philip P. Whynott was born in Waltham, Massachusetts, January 11, 1944 and was admitted to the Wyoming State Bar in 1972 with a B.A. in History, M.A. in Political Science and Juris Doctor from the University of Wyoming. He received a Certificate in Advanced International Legal Studies from the McGeorge School of Law; Legal Problems of the East-West Trade from Warsaw University, Warsaw, Poland, the University of San Diego Diplomate, Paris Institute on International Comparative Law and Russia-Poland Institute on International and Comparative Law. He is the author of Wyoming, Legal Aspects of Doing Business in North America and Canada (Boston: Kluwer Law and Taxation, 1987, 1991), co-author of Wyoming Corporate Law and Practice (Pioneer Printing 1990, Supp. 1991) and co-editor of The Limited Liability Company Reporter. He is the co-author of The Limited Liability Company, Third Edition (James Publishing, 1994). He is a frequent speaker at the Advanced Limited Liability Company Seminars. He was Director of Legal Services for Laramie County 1971-1972; Member, Secretary of States Committee to rewrite the States corporation laws; and President of the Wyoming Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, 1990-91. He has been in private law practice since 1972 and is a member of the Wyoming State Bar Association, Laramie County Bar Association, and the International Bar Association.
